A) Hueless & Huemore are natively compatible with iPhone 5, 4S, 4, 3GS & iPod touch (4th & 5th generation). Hueless & Huemore are also compatible, running in "compatibility mode", on iPad 2, iPad (3rd & 4th generation) and iPad mini running iOS 5 or newer.
A) Hueless & Huemore capture full-resolution photographs on all compatible devices.
A) Some devices (iPhone 3GS, iPod touch) and world regions do not allow for muting of the shutter sound. This behaviour is device and OS version specific and is beyond our control.
A) Integration with the iOS Camera Roll provides automatic sync via iCloud & Photo Stream to your Macintosh or iOS devices and does not require management of a separate photo library.
This has the added benefit of the Hueless & Huemore retaining their small size and not growing larger with each photo shot, which is the downside of an app specific photo roll.
Hueless & Huemore offer integrated email, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook support for sharing your photos. Note that, due to iOS limitations, you must use the built-in Photos app to delete images from your camera roll.
A) At the core of Hueless & Huemore is our Curious Camera Engine™ (CCE). Based on the
latest iOS technologies, the CCE controls our live preview, image capture, live exposure/filter adjustments and delivers the impressive shooting performance of Hueless & Huemore.
CCE represents the next generation of iOS photo imaging technologies and allows us to accomplish real-time image processing within the framework of a high performance iOS camera. No post-processing. No delay.
A) Here at Curious Satellite we want to promote the art & craft of photography by delivering pro-level shooting apps that assist in that endeavor. We believe the tradeoff in image quality when using digital zoom is an unacceptable price to pay.
We encourage photographers to move closer to their subjects whenever they can and when they can't, cropping afterwards in an app such as iPhoto will yield a higher quality photo than shooting the original with digital zoom.
A) Apple requires all apps that access the built-in camera roll for review purposes in iOS 5 have location services enabled. This is to ensure that photos in the camera roll that have previously been tagged with location data will display properly. This is not optional and is required by iOS 5 for Hueless to function.
We never transmit any information about your location and we have no interest in such data. Please see our policies page for more information.
A) Hueless & Huemore bring true creative photography to the iPhone, but in doing so requires a lot of your iOS device and memory fragmentation over time due to your unique combination of app usage can result in degraded performance.
